Prof. Dr. Klaus Koschorke

German historian of Christianity and Professor emeritus at LMU Munich University. He developed it – in addition to the treatment of classical patristic themes – into the only Chair of Church history at a Faculty of Protestant Theology in German-speaking central Europe that has specialized in the history of non-western and global the Department of Religious Studies and the Center for African Studieso the geographical and cultural-contextual plurality of World Christianity.He also served as the Dean of the Faculty of Protestant Theology, Head of the Institute of Church History and Member of the Senate of the University of Munich.
