Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), National University of Malaysia (UKM). He has been appointed as one of the 15 members of the Consultative Council on Foreign Policy by Foreign Minister and is the Co-chair of the Malaysian CSO-SDG Alliance (a member of the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations), member of the National SDG Steering Commitee, Economic Planning Unit, government of Malaysia. He also took part in the action research project of neighbourhood approach funded by the Department of National Unity and Integration of Office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
